The Best Sunday Roasts Across Leeds

Grab all the trimmings and tuck into a delicious Sunday Roast this weekend. Fill up on yorkshire puds, gravy and roasties across Leeds after a week of roast-worthy weather. Enjoy a cosy pub fire or head out to dine in a more up-market setting for the best meal of the week.

The Midnight Bell, Lamb & Flag and The White Swan meats are all supplied by Yorkshire Dales Meat Company, so you know you are dining local and eating a delicious meal. Each roast is served with roast potatoes, braised spiced red cabbage, mashed potato, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and red wine gravy. There are nut roast options for any meat-free diners as well as the favourites from the main pub menu, including steak and ale pie, fish and chips or wild mushroom risotto.

Three’s a Crowd’s Sunday Roasts are not to be missed, dine out on a selection of delicious dishes, including porchetta stuffed with Italian sausage, shoulder of Yorkshire Moors lamb, beef rump, or butternut squash and chestnut nut roast. The roasts are served with the usual trimmings of garlic & thyme roast potatoes, carrot, peas & pancetta, Yorkshire pudding and gravy! 

If you’re heading out to Boston Spa this weekend, The Crown Hotel serve up an array of roast options that change weekly and a fabulous pudding selection if you have room! We have our eye on the sticky toffee pudding.

Beck and Call in Meanwood serve their roasts until 8pm so if you have a busy Sunday afternoon, you don’t need to miss out. Their menu includes vegetarian haggis, beef with horseradish as well as alternative roast inspired dishes that are a little lighter.

Shears Yard is not only one of the top roasts in Leeds, but the UK, bagging a top 10 spot on the Rate Good Roasts 2022 awards. We aren’t surprised when you read the menu to find roast sirloin of beef and slow cooked pork shoulder served with Yorkshire puddings and gravy.

If you’re looking for that extra treat, Neighbourhood are now offering a bottomless roast as part of their Sunday Seshions, choose from roast topside beef, roast chicken breast or zucchini & cashew bake with a selection of delicious sides. All washed down with unlimited prosecco, spirits and beer for only £38 per person, what could be better than that!?

Blackhouse is made for Sundays, dine out on a choice of roast chicken breast, garlic and sage ruffed pork loin, or spiced squash wellington, all served with beef dripping roast potatoes, steamed greens, rosemary roast carrots and Yorkshire pudding.

If you simply cannot decide, head to Gusto Leeds or Cookridge for their Sunday Sharing Roast with a selection of sirloin beef, roast chicken, porchetta-style pork, crackling and a three-meat ragu shepherd’s pie! (Minimum 2 people).

Following a stunning £2 million refurbishment, Restaurant Bar & Grill has reopened with a menu refresh, their Sunday Roast menu includes slow roast beef, herb roast chicken and mixed nut roast all served will a selection of traditional sides.

Enjoy a roast with a view at Crafthouse with a 2 or 3-course set menu with the option to upgrade to free-flowing red wine or prosecco for £25 per person.

Dine out on 3 courses for £35 at Dakota, and tuck into a selection of meats, nut roasts as well as some roast dinner alternatives. If you’re up for sharing, try their Chateaubriand for two, served with duck fat potatoes, maple glazed root vegetables & Yorkshire puddings. What a mouthful!
